The work we are doing to create  the Well Being Centre at  Glynleigh Organic Farm  at Stone Cross continues to gather at a pace. As you may well have heard we received planning permission at the end of last year to create an environmentally friendly and holistic  centre for complementary  and transformative healing work,in all its many forms, on the edge of Pevensey marshes. It now has a name, the Well Being Centre and  is based at Glynleigh Farm, a small organic farm near Stone Cross. The  big 24ft yurt for classes and workshops went up at the beginning of August and the  smaller 14ft yurt for therapies and treatments is going up at the end of September. Both will have  wooden floors and  a woodburner. We shall be  opening  in early  2015, on Saturday, 21st March. There will be taster sessions by invitation during October 2014.

20140828_105532[1]If this feels like something you would like to be part of, please get in touch with us and we would love to share our plans and ideas and show you around the place…!More volunteeer workdays are coming very soon.

NN-working-on-back-original We are now  offering  three  WALK IN SHIATSU CLINICS a month in  and around  Eastbourneone in town at the YOGALIFE STUDIO on the fourth Friday every month, one on the seafront at the NATURAL FITNESS CENTRE on the third Saturday  of every  month and one  at ST. LUKES PARISH CENTRE on the second Friday of every month  in Stone Cross.During September however there will be no Walk In at Stone Cross and in October we shall be running four walk In Clinics, with a new one at The Well Being Centre at Glynleigh Organic farm in the Big Yurt. The one at the Well Being Centre  will only be for the month of October this year and then regularily from March 2015! In these difficult times the Walk In Clinics are becoming more and more popular with a mixture of regular clients who love to receive Shiatsu but cannot afford regular prices and new clients who would like to experience Shiatsu at a cost of their choosing! These clinics provide a wonderful opportunity to have a deeply relaxing, revitalizing  and healing half hour Shiatsu treatment from a fully qualified Shiatsu Practitioner for a  small donation (suggested from£10). Truly excellent  value. There are some appointments  available for booking if required but it is generally a walk in and we shall endeavour to see you as soon as possible.October and November  dates for the diary…. sm1761_shiatsu_headwork1  OCTOBER  and NOVEMBER 2014

Seated Acupressure massage is a relaxing and invigorating  style of bodywork  adapted from a traditional form of Japanese massage called Anma, Shiatsu and Western Bodywork.

The massage involves work on the back, shoulders, neck, arms, hands and head, specifically targeting those areas susceptible to tension and stress.

This treatment is received fully clothed, while sitting in a specially designed ergonomic chair, which allows the therapist to perform rotations and stretches as well as soothe and rub away any aches and pains. No oils or lotions are used.

Seated Acupressure massage is an immediate stress reliever working to relieve tired, aching and tense muscles as well as creating a sense  of well being and relaxation in short time.

Regular Seated Acupressure Massage can help to

· Promote an overall sense of well-being, calmness and relaxation.

· Unravel tense and aching muscles.

· Relieve minor aches and pains.

· Increase circulation to all parts of the body but especially the back, neck, head, arms and hands.

· Lower anxiety levels.

· Improve memory and mental alertness.
